FBX format?

Vikash Gupta
Hi everyone,

I'm trying to convert DICOMs into FBX 3D format. Anyone have experience with this or know how to do it in Slicer?

Thanks,

vikash

First segment the DICOM file. If you use Segment Editor module then convert segments to models using Segmentations module’s Import/Export feature. Save models in .obj format and use Autodesk’s converter tool to create fbx files (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/item?siteID=123112&id=20481519).

Don't think Slicer exports directly to .fbx but you can export to .stl or .ply and then use a modelling program to 'convert' it to .fbx.
