Info about loading a MR..

Samuele Zampini
Dear All,

I usually deal with CT scans. But I am now facing with a MR and I am finding it a bit difficult.

The point is that I can not understand how to load it.

Look at the window in the attached file.

What should I select to view the MR in a good way?

Thanks a lot,

Re: Info about loading a MR..

Hi,

I find selecting the first .dcm file (labelled in sequence with a "0") is all you need to load.
Slicer then automatically loads all the other slices of the series.

Please be careful to black-out all private information (names, ids) if you post such screenshots.

John is right: click the volume you want in the top-right window and then "apply." The useful ones are probably the T1... or T2... volumes.
