Rotate and save images... 3d model

Gonzalo Rojas Costa

Hi:

I want to create a video of a rotating 3D model using 3D Slicer 3.6... How can i do it ?...

for example, I could save a screenshot rotate the model some degrees, save another screenshot and so on... but, using which 3D Slicer commands can i do it ?...

It requires pasting a script in the python console.  See "CaptureRotationVideo.py" linked from here:

Ah, yes, 3.6 - sorry, I missed that part.

Yes, there is a command you can type into the tcl shell for this.  Then you can click into spin mode and record as many frames as you need.  It's described here:
